At present the Department of Arts is providing quality education at undergraduate and post graduate, where B.A & M.A are the regular programmes .The CBCS pattern has been introduced since 2015-16 at UG and PG level wherein continuous monitoring of learning ability of students is assessed. B.A Course : A candidate must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 in any stream with minimum of 40% marks. Candidate’s belongings to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria. M.A Course : A candidate must have passed graduation in any stream with minimum of 40% marks. Candidate’s belongings to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria.
