At present the Department of Arts is providing quality education at undergraduate and post graduate, where B.A & M.A are the regular programmes .The CBCS pattern has been introduced since 2015-16 at UG and PG level wherein continuous monitoring of learning ability of students is assessed. The details of the courses are as under:

B.A Course : A candidate must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 in any stream with minimum of 40% marks. Candidate’s belongings to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria. M.A Course : A candidate must have passed graduation in any stream with minimum of 40% marks. Candidate’s belongings to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria.

It aims at Establishing a professional learning atmosphere through bringing highly qualified teachers community, providing innovative solutions to the students, to broaden educational areas in physical , organic and inorganic science, ensuring high levels of learning for everyone so that student can build their career independently in industry, academic and research institutions and private sectors.
